The Social Forestry Project will be the featured sustainability partner at this week’s Wayne State University Farmers Market – at the corner of Warren and Woodward, in Detroit. We’ll be on hand from 10am to 3pm to let you know all about our urban forestry initiatives. We’ll have tiny trees that are in need of names before they’re planted next spring, so help us create those identities! PLUS, we’ll have plenty of new stickers to give away.
But that’s not all …
In addition to a CamelBak water bottle, we’ll also be giving away up to four ANNUAL PASSES to the all-new Canopy Walk at Whiting Forest, which is part of the Dow Gardens facility in Midland, Michigan. It opens October 7 and will be the longest canopy walk in the US! The water bottle will be filled with acorns. Simply come by, register for our mailing list, and guess how many acorns are in the bottle! We might also give away one or two prizes via trivia.
